Biography
Stefan Vippermann has degree in the field of business administration of the Regensburg university (Germany).
From 1989 to 2007 worked in Hewlett Packard company, having begun with a position of the financial analyst. Further held different executive positions in the company and was responsible for sales, production processes, marketing and the general management with business in Germany and in EMEA region.
Then worked in Siemens Home & Office Communications company as the managing director and the marketing director.
After that, from 2009 to 2015, worked in IBM in Germany. Held a post of the vice president and board member.
After IBM Vippermann acted as the independent management consultant and to sales.
2017: The vice president in Sabre
In March, 2017 the Sabre company announced Stefan Vippermann's appointment the vice president for Central and Eastern Europe where enter, including, the markets of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Russia, the CIS, Turkey, Poland and Israel.
The circle of key duties of Vippermann includes increase in sales and business development, promotion of products and implementation of innovations for the benefit of the European travel agencies.
Sabre calculates that "valuable knowledge which it gained during operation in a number of the leading world technology companies", will contribute to sustainable development of business in the region, strategically important for Sabre.
In a new position Stefan Vippermann replaced Carsten Schäffer who is going to pass to work into Air Berlin.
