In October 2017, Roman Tretyakov joined the Central Bank of Russia, heading the regional development center in Kazan.
In 2017, the Central Bank created seven such centers of centers - two in St. Petersburg, and one each in Tomsk, Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Ryazan and Kazan. Their task is to develop the applied platforms of the Central Bank.
There are nine such platforms in total (see slide below). In Kazan, according to TAdviser, at that time it was planned to develop two of them - a promising payment system and a banking platform.
Representatives of the Central Bank in Tomsk previously said that their center will work on four platforms and by 2020 plans to form a team of 350 people[1].
The transition to the Central Bank is a big challenge for me, and the decision to leave Sber Tech was the hardest in my career, - Roman Tretyakov told TAdviser |
The team formed in "Sber Tech," according to him, will continue to work on the tasks of Sberbank.
My move is not accidental. I did not consider offers in Samara, because I wanted to keep employees in "Sber Tech" after my departure. There is no "Sber Tech" in Kazan, therefore there is no competition for personnel with my previous employer, Tretyakov added |
The interlocutor of TAdviser in "Sber Tech" says that Tretyakov's departure is a big loss for the company: "he was flattered by both money and tasks, we could not stop him." Another TAdviser source claims that the level of remuneration in the Central Bank is comparable to what is proposed in Sber Tech, and Tretyakova was more attracted by the responsibility and level of powers that he was offered to take over at the Central Bank.
