Career

2019-2020

In 2019-2020, Elena Tyabutova headed the Alcoholic Siberian Group (ASG), which produces vodka Five Lakes, Husky, White Birch and other brands. She came to ASG from Unilever as CFO in 2017, and in 2019 she headed the group after the arrest of its general director Igor Savelyev on suspicion of fraud.

Tyabutova was also the general director of Inmarko-Trade LLC (owner of Inmarko ice cream producer, owned by Unilever since 2008) and the financial director of Unilever Rus.

2022: Appointment as Unilever CEO in Russia

September 19, 2022 it became known about the change of the general director of the Russian representative office of Unilever. It was Elena Tyabutova, who previously held the position of financial director in the company.

Information about the change of the head of Unilever Rus LLC is contained in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. The press service of the company confirmed to RIA Novosti the appointment of a new head.

We confirm that in August 2022, Unilever Rus LLC really changed its general director. Further management of the company was taken over by Elena Tyabutova and Andrei Vasiliev. Elena was appointed CEO of the company, and Andrei was appointed head of the sales and marketing service, the company said.

Unilever Office

Prior to Tyabutova, the Unilever Rus company was led by Regina Kuzmina, who also served as president of Unilever in Ukraine, Russia and Belarus. Kuzmina continues her career in the company in one of the foreign offices as president of the Beauty and Well-Being business group, which was formed as a result of organizational changes in the company at the global level, the press service said on September 19, 2022.

In early March 2022, Unilever announced the suspension of exports of its products to Russia and imports from it, as well as the cessation of investments in the country and spending on media and advertising. At the same time, in the report, the company clarified that it would continue to provide the local population with basic goods.[1]
