2025: Appointment of NIIMA Progress as CEO of Microelectronics Developer

According to Olga Kvashenkina, head of the SNDGLOBAL holding, the frequent change of leaders at Progress NIIMA should be considered not as a management crisis, but as a result of a number of objective factors. These include: the specifics of the work of the Element group after the IPO, the tight timing of the implementation of import substitution programs, as well as tough key performance indicators (KPI) within the framework of product roadmaps (navigation/communication, telecom-munition modules, microcontrollers). The situation is aggravated by the shortage of qualified managers who are able to simultaneously oversee complex R&D, work with government contracts and the GR direction.

As for the role of Progress NIIMA, the institute is a key design center of the Element group in the development of electronic components for navigation and communication, as well as ready-made modules and electronic equipment (REA). In addition, the organization is one of the co-founders of the industry forum Microelectronics"."^[1]
