Biography

By data from open sources, Levan was born on December 20, 1970 in Tbilisi.

In 1992 graduated from the Tbilisi State University majoring in Geophysics,[1] also has MBA degree[2].

From 1998 to 2007 Vasadze held a post of the senior vice president on strategy and development of AFK "Sistema". Besides it was a part of Boards of Directors of such companies of holding as [[Internet|Internet service provider Sistema telecom, MGTS, Comstar, the Zelenograd concern "Sitronics", RTI of a System concern, ROSNO insurance group, development company of Gals-development, VAO "Intourist", JSC Sistema of Mass Media, Moscow Bank for Reconstruction and Development (nowadays MTS-bank), Toy Store retail network, Skylink mobile operator.

The fund reports that Levan Vasadze left AFK "Sistema" after an output of corporation to the London exchange and sales of a controlling stake of ROSNO to the German insurance giant Allianz AG.

According to media, at the end of June, 2015 Vasadze appeared in board of AFK "Sistema" again, however in the middle of September, 2015 it did not appear in the updated list of the management any more.

The Prometheus Capital Partners investment fund which is set up by Vasadze in 2008 (the legal person — Prometeus capital LLC) owns controlling stakes of the retail operator of pet goods, largest in Russia, Beethoven (network of pet-shops of Pat Iiteyl company) and the wine house of Bagrationi 1882 and also AT Consulting company. Through the divisions Prometeus development and "Prometeus edvayzorz" fund is engaged in investments into the commercial and residential real estate and also investment banking activity in the field of merges and absorption.

2016: AT Consulting purchase

In November, 2016 it became known that the entrepreneur Vasadze Levan through the investment fund Prometheus Capital Partners redeemed 95% of AT Consulting integrator. The founder of the company Sergey Shilov confirmed to TAdviser that AT Consulting is sold, and told that he remained in it the minority shareholder from shares in 5%.

2017: CEO of AT Consulting

In March, 2017 the founder and the former CEO of AT Consulting Sergey Shilov completed transfer of affairs to the new management and finally left the company. The source well familiar with AT Consulting activity told TAdviser that in parent company of group Sergey Shilov stopped being the CEO from the middle of January, 2017. Its place was taken by the new owner Levan Vasadze - now he is engaged in all operational management.

From first week of March, 2017 Shilov also stopped being the CEO of AT Service who is a part of AT Consulting, the interlocutor of TAdviser says.

Due to the departure of the founder of AT Consulting the new CEO addressed in the letter subordinates in which he expressed to Shilov gratitude and announced "big plans for business development"[3]. From one of leading companies in the field of IT services in Russia, AT Consulting she intends to become company number one, Vasadze wrote.

In the industries, traditional for the company, where it has strong positions, it will increase a project portfolio and to perform horizontal expansion. Together with it, AT Consulting defined for itself the new industries: Energy industry, transport and logistics and rural economy, follows from the letter of the new CEO to employees. Expects a set of new projects of Vasadze in a public sector. Also it is going to develop further Competence Centers in the field of the electronic government, the safe and smart city.

According to the source TAdviser well familiar with AT Consulting activity, the new owner of the company is going to pay special attention to business development abroad. Earlier the company had projects abroad, but in a small amount and generally in the CIS countries: Kazakhstan, Ukraine, etc. Levan Vasadze, according to the interlocutor of TAdviser, is going to develop business in the markets of Latin America and the Middle East. The development strategy assumes opening of new offices abroad. Levadze considers that there the same services will be demanded that the company renders in Russia, tells a source.

Sale of AT Consulting and leaving the company

In June, 2017 Shilov became the majority shareholder of AT Consulting again, having redeemed the company from Levan Vasadze [1] (in more detail).
