Alexander Vasilenko – since January, 2009 the sales director of Siemens Enterprise Communications (across Russia and the CIS). Since April, 2011 - the director of the company. Replaced Tarasov Arseny who within half a year will advise Siemens Enterprise Communications on strategic questions. Was born in 1975.

As CNews knew in October, 2011, Alexander Vasilenko became the new head of the Russian representative office of VMware. Vasilenko confirmed to CNews information on the appointment, but refrained from further comments.

Education

Graduated from MSU, faculty of calculus mathematics and cybernetics (1992 – 1997). In 2008-2009 was trained in Universit? t St. Gallen-Hochschule f? r Wirtschafts-, Rechts-und Sozialwissenschaften according to the Sun Top Talents Academy program.

Career

• 1996-2001 – Hewlett-Packard, worked in sales-department, then the head of the department of additional products.
• 2001 - Sun Microsystems, worked as the area manager by the central part of the Russian Federation, the director of business development and regional sales, the director of the department of work with the enterprises of the industry, media and Web 2.0. Achieved the sixfold sales growth in 5 years in the CIS entering in top-20 the best system integrators the CIS according to an analytical research of RBC (over 80 branches and three distributor divisions).
