After I left Skoltech, considered several interesting offers. However unexpectedly arrived offer from the global company on selection of IT personnel at first surprised me, but after the serious analysis forced to review my position and to accept the offer to hold a post of CIO Equity Bank, Kenya

Tasks stand ambitious for the next 10 years - in terms of the customer base grow from 10 million to 100 million, in terms of a territorial covering from 6 countries to 15, including Kenya. The main objective which is set by the management for the current CIO - to carry out complete digital transformation of bank, the so-called program "Equity 3.0" (an example - http://allafrica.com/stories/201410311550.html)

Level of informatization of Kenyan bank, according to Wide, was rather high. However the financial institution lacks strong project managers and architects that in itself is one of key tasks for CIO for the near future, he adds.
