2019: A record award for capture in the USA

At the beginning of December, 2019  for capture of the Russian hacker in the USA appointed a record award. The State department is ready to pay $5 million for information which will help to delay the expected leader of the cybercriminal Evil Corp grouping (it is also known as Dridex Gang) Maxim Yakubts.

Along with other participant of Evil Corp Igor Turashev Yakubets was included into the list of "the most wanted cybercriminals" published on the website of FBI. Earlier the highest award for capture of the hacker was appointed concerning other Russian — Evgeny Bogachyov ($3 million in 2015).

On December 5, 2019 the USA imposed  sanctions against seven Russian companies, including  Evil Corp, and 17 citizens who, according to the American authorities, were connected with cybercrimes.

According to charge, Russians "infected" with the malware hundreds of thousands of computers worldwide, the victims of their attacks in total lost more than $70 million.

According to U.S. authorities, hackers began the criminal activity in 2009. They distributed malware which stole data for access to bank accounts. Besides, grouping had the bot network.

According to the deputy director of FBI David Boudich, actions of cybercriminals are especially dangerous as they are aimed on at the American structures in all sectors and spheres of life.[1]

The British National fight against crime agency called Evil Corp the largest threat of cyber security of the country. Yakubets and his grouping caused to the United Kingdom damages assessed at hundreds of millions pounds sterling declared in the agency.
