Education

Maria Yurgelas graduated from economics department of Lomonosov Moscow State University with honors and also a magistracy and a postgraduate study of this educational institution. Has degree of the master of economy and the candidate of political sciences.

Was trained in INSEAD according to the Executive Education program (MAP, Fontainebleau), Hebrew University Summer School in Economics (Israel) and also in training centers of Arthur Andersen company, including New Business Consulting Program (Chicago).

Career

2001: Gorod-Info

The professional career Maria Yurgelas began in 2001 in the Gorod-Info company executing projects for department of food resources of Moscow, department of science and industrial policy of Moscow, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of the property relations of the Russian Federation, etc.

2004: Sitronics

In 2004 Yurgelas began to work in Kvazar-micro company (later - Sitronics IT) at a position of the associate director on corporate sales. Further held positions of the director of corporate sales, the chief executive, the deputy CEO.

On January 26, 2011 it was appointed the CEO of the Russian office "Sitronics IT", and since July, 2012 began to direct also office of the company in Ukraine.

2012: Government of the Moscow region

In December, 2012 the acting as the governor of the Moscow region Andriy Vorobyov appointed Maria Yurgelas the new minister of public administration, information technologies and communications of the region.

The ministry of public administration, information technologies and communications of the Moscow region was transformed from the Ministry of information technologies and communication according to the resolution of the former governor of the region Sergey Shoygu^[1].

In NARK Yurgelas is responsible for implementation of a national system of qualifications in regions.
