"Since 1990, I began to travel abroad and lived on what I earned there. Still, when you have two children, first you need to make sure that everything is fine with them, and only then think about what I myself want in music. So I taught, played endless concerts as a pianist. "

As a conductor, soloist-pianist and ensemble, he toured in more than 35 countries.

Discs began to be released in 1999. What first arose as a hobby later became a respected label in the world: it is associated with St. Petersburg music, often unknown, with composers whom Yuri Serov loves and appreciates.

Since 2009, Yuri Serov collaborated with the team that was founded by his father. It was called "Orchestra of Ancient and Contemporary Music." "At the concerts of this orchestra, I grew up. In 1985, dad left there, leaving for Volgograd. Then Ravil Martynov was a conductor there until 2004. The orchestra became known as the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of St. Petersburg. For some time Vasily Petrenko worked there, who made a dizzying career around the world. Since 2007, Alexander Titov became the chief conductor in the orchestra, who offered me joint work. We can say that I am engaged in the artistic policy of the orchestra, periodically conduct, and also conduct subscription concerts. I especially love children, "Yuri Serov said in an interview in 2012.
