Biography

Natalya Viktorovna Zhilkina was born in Tomsk, her ancestors from Siberia. The father was a serviceman therefore the family often moved, did not settle in Priozersk (territory of present Kazakhstan) yet. Here Natalya got secondary education then she entered the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (MEPI) on faculty of cybernetics from which she graduated with honors. Before reorganization and leaving in journalism worked at Research institute of electronic ADP equipment (NICEVT).

For many years of editorial and journalistic work in such editions as Computerra, CIO, "The magazine of network solutions / LAN", "The messenger of communication", not only well recognizable style of the publications issuing from its pen but also worthy style of work of admiration was created. It entered that small cohort of the journalists who are held in the deepest respect of many experts of the market for professionalism and ability to find a common language with any specialist of the industry.

Held a position of the senior editor of the CIO magazine in ID "Center of business journalism".

In October, 2013 Natalya Zhilkina is appointed the Chief Editor of media resources of Media Grus publishing house, including the ЦОДы.РФ magazine and the Internet portal AllDataCenters.ru (AllDC.ru).

Natalya Viktorovna headed "ЦОДы.РФ" in 2013 when the magazine only began to win the place among trade publications. For so short time the titanic work and tireless work with authors and experts of the market it achieved the most outstanding results. Thanks to it the magazine became the most authoritative in the market and enjoys the highest confidence of readers.

It was from those who always finished begun not simply: it did everything that it was possible to be proud of results of work; worked on wear, without paying attention to feeling sick and any difficulties; went forward, being ill all heart for good reason in which was engaged. And only when forces almost ended, she with tears in the eyes left work, but continued to be interested as far as possible in how there are affairs in the company as projects are implemented.

On May 26, 2016 Natalya Viktorovna Zhilkina died, for the last three years heading the publishing direction of Media Grus Ltd and working as the Chief Editor. She was only 58 years old.

Long-term experience in the market of high technologies, capability to catch its thinnest changes, to grope hot topics, to find interesting specialists, and together with it is the unprecedented diligence, sense of style, a simple style, virtuosity in manner with people, the congenital tactfulness, a broad outlook is only a small list of qualities which can seldom be met in one person, but all of them were in Natalya Viktorovna.

Highly appreciating professionalism in people, she considered the main thing in life after all the human relations, family (Natalya has a beautiful son and two charming grandsons). She very much loved creativity (there is no such type of needlework in which she would not be an expert) and was always distressed that on it there is practically no time.
