- Hardware: one basic universal controller and also a set of specialized controllers and devices for the complete solution of a problem of creation of a control system of access

Features
- system scale: from one access point based on one independent controller, to the distributed and scalable control system of access of large enterprise;
- network capabilities: there are no restrictions on the number of servers and an automated workplace in a system, by the number of the connected RS485 lines (to 255 controllers in everyone), by the number of separate controllers or local branches of controllers on the Ethernet network;
- survivability: steady autonomous and network functioning of each controller with protection against hangup; non-volatile storage in the controller of 16 thousand keys, 7 schedules and 8 thousand latest events and also additional local scenarios of work (FreeLogic);

Gate-8000
Gate-8000 controller, 2015
The GATE-8000 network controller is a basic element of SKD GATE. It can be applied to the equipment of one double-sided (input exit) point of pass or two one-sided (only an input) pass points. The controller supports all widespread types of readers and can be used for management practically by any actuators (electromagnetic and electromechanical locks, tourniquets, gate, barriers, etc.).
By means of extent entries it is possible to connect additional security/fire detectors to the controller. Numbers of all user keys / cards registered in the controller schedules and admissions are stored in an internal non-volatile memory of controllers. All events also register in an internal memory of the controller. Initial setup and programming of controllers can be performed not only using the managing computer, but also is autonomous.
For the second option the special mode of "autonomous programming" allowing to add new keys, to erase already registered keys (on one or all at once), to regulate actuation time of managing relays is provided in the controller. In the network mode controllers integrate to the line using RS‑422 or RS-485 interface and via the transformer of the interface are connected to the managing computer. To one line about 254 controllers can be connected.
For control of controllers in the network mode the specialized software is used. The decision on providing admission is always made by the controller therefore the operability of a system completely remains at switching off of the computer and at damage of the communication line. GATE-4000 controllers also have an opportunity for work as a part of the integrated security systems Bastion, Intelligence, "Trassir", "Itrium", "1C Enterprise 8.1".

2018: Gate-IP-Web
On June 25, 2018 announced Ravelin-LTD release of the next version of Gate-IP which received the name Gate-IP-Web. Changes concerned the software of this ACS.
The provided version of software has a number of additional attractive properties:
- software Gate-IP-Web became free. In it all limits are lifted and all, earlier licensed are open, for function.
- software of Gate-IP-Web supports work of almost unlimited number of WEB of clients of the ACS with advanced functionality.
Gate-IP-Web includes a set of the server and client software for deployment of the ACS server, to 9 remote jobs the Gate-IP-Client and also an unlimited number of jobs via the Web interface. In the ACS there are no restrictions on the number of controllers and cards in a system. Integration into video is supported (SVN the Line, registrars Pinetron, Dahua, Hikvision).
Thus, for creation of the ACS it is enough to have the unrolled Ethernet network, Gate-IP-Base controllers and readers corresponding to the used identifiers. Enough an automated workplace of different officials in a system is provided web liyentami with advanced functionality.
The professional protection of data transfer protocols provided with cryptopermanent enciphering and the imitostoyky transfer protocol of data packets remains the important advantage of a system.
The notifikatsionny (notifying) scheme of poll of controllers was and remains distinctive and important feature of the Gate-IP-Web ACS. Thanks to this technology the controller can have both the static, and dynamic address (DHCP) in the computer network. In the ACS of objects of the distributed structure the static external IP address will be required only for the ACS server, and it will not be required for controllers of access points.
In a system there are available all opportunities and technologies based on use of special intelligent controllers:
Gate-IC-Antipassback - for the organization of a special system of a global (zone) antipassbek (control and prohibition of repeated pass); Gate-IC-Lock - for the organization of a special system of wireless Gate-IP-Lock locks; Gate-IC-Elevator - for the organization of a special management system for the elevator and other automatic equipment.
Gate-IP-Web provided to software does not support work with the controllers of the classical Gate ACS (Gate-4000, 8000, the Parking) connected in the subordinated branch to regular controllers. This opportunity was earlier and is temporarily provided for the objects passing from the classical Gate ACS to the special Gate-IP ACS.
Since July 1, 2018 the Gate brand stops delivery of the paid version of software of Gate-IP and upgrades to the free version of Gate-IP-Web.
2017: Two sets of checkpoints are released
On December 14, 2017 the Ravelin company provided budget sets of a time recording "to Gate URV Through passage" and "Gate URV IP Through passage". They allow to organize one bilateral point of pass and an automated workplace with tools on report generation of URV.
Based on these tourniquets and sets "Gate URV IP Through passage" as a part of the nomenclature of a brand appeared IP electronic Gate-C03 through passage and Gate-C04. Sets provide creation of an available control system of access of one bidirectional point of pass with functions of photoverification, a time recording and control of labor discipline, prohibition of repeated pass, formation of the evacuation report with additional ability to integrate with a video surveillance system and Internet service of SMS mailings.
Electronic Gate (EDS) through passage allows IP:
- limit pass on the territory of the enterprise of strangers;
- control and fix date and time of inputs and exits of employees;
- carry out a time recording and control of observance of a daily routine;
- provide protection against falsification of cards and their transfer to other person;
- to quickly create the evacuation report and to trace the fact of pass of the set persons;
- organize e-mail the notification about ACS events.
In addition, in the presence on a video surveillance system object Line, a set provides implementation online and archive video verification of passes; in the presence of registration on a network resource provides implementation of the SMS function of the notification about passes or other events of the ACS.
Structure of a set of the EDS of Gate-C04 (C03):
- pedestal tourniquet of Oxgard Cube C-04 (or the Oxgard Cube C-03 tripod) with the manual control panel;
- IP Gate-8000-Ethernet controller;
- two readers Gate-Reader-EH (optionally - MF)
- URV Gate-Solo software (with the HASP key and the license for 1 controller).

2015: Gate is integrated with means of biometrics of ZKTeco
On January 23, 2015 the Ravelin-LTD company announced the implemented solution of integration by specialists of ZKTeco company (representation - ALPRO company) and developers of the Russian ACS.
Biometric reader MA300, 2015
The joint technological solution consists in the offer the ZKTeco brand of a qualitative line of inexpensive devices for different problems and specifics of objects, and developers of the Russian Gate ACS free of charge turned on in the system interface a connectivity, settings and operation of biometric ZK devices, without additional software or other costs.
From the technical point of view all devices of identification on a ZKTeco brand fingerprint among which popular there are MA300 optic instruments (the biometric reader combined with the card reader) and ZK 4500 (the desktop biometric sensor), the multispectral reader ZK LA2000 now are integrated into the Gate ACS. Testing of the venous FV200 scanner is conducted.
