2023: Digital Platform Launch

On February 7, 2023, Дом.РФ announced the launch of a digital mortgage securities platform (ICB), which allows original banks to apply for securitization, as well as download and check regular reports as part of mortgage pool service. The project was implemented with the participation of the FinTech Association.

It is noted that the platform is based on a data-centric approach, which allows for each attribute to easily understand the origin, business meaning, peculiarities of use, and quality metrics. This allows you to increase the manufacturability, speed of processing and calculations using complex data and involve them in solving new business problems, the press service of Дом.рф reported.

Digital mortgage securities platform launched in Russia

As Oleg Komlik, deputy managing director of Дом.рф, noted, pilot access to the platform's functionality was provided to individual originators. By February 7, 2023, seven banks had switched to a single data exchange standard, and six of them are already operating on the platform.

The implementation of new securitization opportunities will require not only the active development of our platform, but also the transition to uniform industry standards for data exchange. This will significantly speed up the development of the field of electronic mortgages and allow you to create a single digital user path: for example, the participants in the transaction will not need to immerse themselves in working with data, manually check it, communicate with the owner of the data for them corrected, "he said.

According to Дом.рф 's own data, the share of the financial institution in the ICB market in 2022 exceeded 98%. He acts as the organizer and guarantor of the ICB issues; in 2022, Дом.рф placed a record number of mortgage bond issues - 15 pieces for a total of 400 billion rubles.^[1]
