2021: Launch of sales of "1C: EDI" and "Module 1C: EDI" service for EDI/EDO exchange with retail networks

On December 20, 2021, the company "" announced the 1C release of the product "Module: 1C EDI," which allows you to work with the 1C: EDI service, designed to exchange electronic documents trade with networks in the territory, RUSSIAN FEDERATION directly from its program "" 1C:Enterprise 8 without complex settings and embedding. The exchange is carried out through EDI- (provider Docrobot formerly E-COM) and complies with the necessary rules, electronic document management including using technology (EDI receiving orders from the network in electronic form, sending notification of shipments, etc.). The product is available for open beta testing.

Module 1C: EDI

According to the company, "Module 1C: EDI" is suitable for suppliers, manufacturers and distributors who:

• They work with the retail chains Magnit, Lenta, X5 Group, Leroy, Ozon, Yandex.Lavka, Utkonos, Druzhka and others,
• Receive from retail chains more than 5 orders per week and/or in orders of 5 or more items,
• Keep records in 1C: Enterprise programs.
• When working with Module 1C: EDI, data from EDI messages is automatically uploaded to the vendor's 1C: Enterprise account system, which reduces the work involved in processing orders and transferring data from them to the accounting system, and reduces the number of errors in these processes.

"Module 1C: EDI" allows supplier organizations to exchange EDI messages/notifications and legal documents in any sequence, as well as create accounting documents in the usual interface of their accounting system.

"1C Module: EDI" allows you to:

• Accept orders (ORDER) from the sales network and reflect them in the "1C:Enterprise 8" account system, forming the "Customer Order "/" Invoice" document.
• Confirm orders with the message ORDRSP.
• Generate and record sales documents and invoices based on the "Buyer's Order "/" Invoices."
• Generate and send to the sales network a shipping notification (DESADV) based on implementation documents from the accounting system.

The module can be adapted to work with other local or atypical applications on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform or built into such solutions, while the typical updates of the module provided by 1C will not affect the modifications made. "Module 1C: EDI" operates within the framework of the 1C: EDI service, which is part of the 1C: Business Network service family and is integrated with the electronic workflow platform of the EDI provider Docrobot.

As of December 2021, "Module 1C: EDI" for work is provided free of charge, it is supposed to pay only for the Docrobot/1C: EDI platform connection service and message traffic in accordance with the selected package from the provider.

Since 17.12.2021, open beta testing of the functionality of Module 1C: EDI has begun. All users of registered 1C: Enterprises 8 products can participate in it.

To connect the EDI exchange through "Module 1C: EDI," the user must leave a request on the 1cedi.ru website. The Docrobot manager will contact these contacts within one day. Once the exchange is connected, the user will be granted access to the current version of Module 1C: EDI.

Information about updates and corrected errors of the module will be sent to users and partners by e-mail. To work with updates, you will need to use an updated version of the extension or processing, no improvements will be required.

Updates and bug fixes for Module 1C: EDI in 1C: Fresh and 1C:Accounting service are delivered automatically.
