2021: Launch 1C: Primary Document Recognition
On December 29, 2021, 1C announced the launch of a service for automating the recognition of accounting and accounting documents, a mechanism (additional functionality) of the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform, which is available in 1C:Enterprise 8 programs. Within the framework of this service, in turn, a mode of entering a typical primary document into the program based on its image is available.
For automated input, scanned document files are downloaded in pdf, png, jpeg, bmp, tiff, Microsoft Word (doc, docx), Microsoft Excel (xls, xlsx), OpenDocument (odf and ods) formats, as well as rar, zip, and 7z archives with the listed file types.
Automate the entry of a generic primary document
The service recognizes scans or photos of primary documents and prepares them for entry into the user's information base in a convenient form:
- Recognizes suppliers, buyers, goods, and services by mapping them to objects in the user's information base.
- If the entries in the user information database are slightly different from those specified in the document, selects the most similar options and asks the user to confirm them.
- If the supplier item differs from the buyer item, remembers the user's selection and selects the correct option automatically the next time.
- Checks the correctness of numbers in tables by formulas.
- Highlights the places to pay attention to.
- Allows you to accurately, accurately and quickly create all the missing items.
- If there are underlying documents in the database that match the scan, you can automatically attach the scan to the document.
- Creates a set of documents that reflect the same business transaction.
- Offers universal recognition for some documents that are not familiar with the system, but reflect the business transactions of goods receipt/write-off.
It is recommended that you use the service to speed up the entry of primary documents into the database, improve the accuracy of entry, as well as automate the attachment of scans of signed documents to previously created documents in the database.
Automated entry of invoices for payment, delivery notes (TORG-12), invoices, certificates, universal transfer documents (UPD). It is planned to expand the list of typical documents that can be entered into the information base using their images.
Recognition of primary documents is available in the service, 1C:Accounting service as well as in the applications "" and Enterprise Accounting"" in the Managing our firm service "" (1C: Fresh 1cfresh.com). The service is available in the local version of Enterprise Accounting, starting with version 3.0 106.60. In the future, it is planned to add work with the service to other applications. 1C
Users of the Enterprise Accounting application can use a mobile device to photograph documents and upload them to the service for automated entry into the information base using the free mobile application "1C: Document Scanner." Documents scanned using the mobile application will immediately appear in the Enterprise Accounting application in an available form. The mobile application does not require access to the information base or publication of the information base on the Internet.
