2025: Presentation of MDM Lite

1C Pro Consulting launched the MDM Lite product for managing NSI on the 1C platform. The company announced this on February 28, 2025.

1C ABM Consulting has released the MDM Lite product, designed to manage regulatory reference information (NSI) within the framework of 1C-based information systems. MDM Lite will expand the functionality of current solutions, including ERP, with additional tools for maintaining and managing master data.

MDM Lite integrates with different 1C platforms, so that various information bases can be sources of master data on directories and their parts. Like any extension, MDM Lite is standard, only short-term exclusive access is required. After restarting, the product itself will form the access group profiles necessary for operation.

The MDM Lite is easy to operate. System control is intercepted only before recording a new or changed directory. The system stores all the data entered in the row and attaches it to a new NSI request. The employee responsible for NSI, working directly in the ERP or other 1C-system, receives all notifications, monitors the proposed changes and can edit all objects according to the principle of one window.

The ease of installation and operation of MDM Lite is achieved by eliminating the use of complex business processes in favor of a simple scheme. Thus, during the development of MDM Lite, it was decided to completely abandon the means of data exchange between IPs, which, as a rule, are implemented using third-party exchange interfaces and conversion means. Instead, MDM Lite uses a universal mechanism for changing objects using the basic configuration interface and intercepting data before writing to create NSI requests, which guarantees maximum ease of operation for systems of this class.

Thus, the role of the service responsible for the quality of the NSI comes down to checking the entered data and, if necessary, editing them, monitoring the absence of duplicates and introducing applications for modification of the NSI (addition, change). The NSI user, for his part, confirms the applications and uses new or changed data in his processes.
