2024: Integration with the "Module of verification of control programs for KOMPAS-3D"
ASCON on September 12, 2024 presented the "Module for verification of control programs for COMPASS-3D." This is a Russian system that works in conjunction with a SAM application, where control programs for CNC machines are developed.
The verifier is integrated with the ADEM CAM system for KOMPAS-3D. Read more here.
2023: ADEM CAM Presentation
ASCON Together with the partner in the consortium "DlavieITie," the company group of companies ADEM presented the ADEM CAM product for - KOMPAS-3D CADCAM a full-fledged/system built on the Russian software components. It is based geometric core C3D on (developer, C3D Labs subsidiary of ASCON), which allows the CNC designer and technologist to work in a single environment, with common geometry. Thus, the consortium builds an end-to-end - PLM complex due to direct integration software solutions. The company ASCON announced this on February 6, 2023.
With the help of the system, the specialist will be able to create processing routes, set technological transitions for features consisting of flat 2D loops and 3D models using the tools for editing the technological route and modeling the processing process.
ADEM CAM for KOMPAS-3D allows you to program the following types of processing:
- milling 2-5 axes
- turning
- turning-milling
- erosion 2-4 axes
- engraving of 2-5 axes
- contour cutting of 2-5 axes
- CNC Press Machining
- additive processing.
As a result of the application of the system, the technologist will receive a control program for the CNC machine that has been debugged during the modeling process. The manufacturing objects that make up the machining process are associated with the geometric model - all changes made to the geometric model of the designed product are automatically reflected in the NC manufacturing process. Machining modeling takes into account the peculiarities of part and tool geometry.
ADEM CAM for KOMPAS-3D transmits "one button" all the necessary information - geometry, equipment, tooling, control program, tool - to an external verifier for verifying the control program in the context of the equipment, taking into account its kinematics and collision/gouge/collision control.
By releasing the first version of the system, the developers are already planning its development: accounting for global procurement in operational routes, integration with PLM and MES systems, the release of a separate application for controlling control programs.
