2020: Announcement of AI-processing system of calls to ambulance

In Moscow as it became known on October 22, 2020, the artificial intelligence began to process calls of ambulance. The new algorithm makes the decision on the urgent or emergency status of a call that it accelerates arrival of physicians to the patient.

Poll algorithm using artificial intelligence for processing of calls of patients was developed and patented by the station of ambulance and emergency medical service of A.S. Puchkov, reported on the website of department of health care of the capital.

Today we can speak with confidence that the artificial intelligence integrated into processes of management of poll algorithms considerably reduced time of call processing 103 and from service 112 and time of the direction of crews to patients and also improved quality of the provided medical care. Such good result managed to achieve thanks to development of a medical invention in which various algorithms of poll and reasons for a call are fulfilled — the chief physician of the medical organization Nikolay Plavunov whose words are cited in the message said.

The solution represents the special algorithms of poll using artificial intelligence developed on the basis of all versions of addresses which the ambulance faces. For example, when the person addresses with complaints: bleeding, high pressure, etc. feels bad.

A system works as follows:

  • addresses from citizens come to the Uniform city dispatching center of the Moscow ambulance;
  • managers process calls — ask questions according to the developed algorithm, give marks in a system opposite to the necessary answer;
  • data go to an information system where there is assessment of complaints;
  • a system analyzes data in real time using artificial intelligence;
  • the algorithm issues an occasion: emergency or urgent.[1]
