Face2Action is a facial recognition algorithm developed by Ak Bars Bank. It can be used in various scenarios of using biometrics, both for remote identification of bank customers, and for paying goods at the cash desk without presenting a bank card, making bank payments, confirming suspicious transactions during remote banking services, and passing into the building.
2021: Face2Security
On April 7, 2021, it became known that within the framework of the Face2 biometric ecosystem, Ak Bars Bank developed the Face2 Security product. It allows you to control that at the working computer is exactly the person under whose account the login was made.
The development is designed to help protect the data of employees and customers of the company, since thanks to it it will not be possible to give a password to another person or steal it in order to commit illegal actions. The system can be used as an additional identification of employees in workplaces with remote access.
Face2Security allows you to track and prevent unauthorized access to jobs, as well as prevent the possibility of peeping or matching a password. You can also use it to sign documents and confirm important transactions with. biometric data
Piloting of the system at the bank began in March. Based on the results of the pilot project, the bank is preparing to scale this decision and offer it to its customers and partners.
Ak Bars Bank is developing its own ecosystem of biometric solutions Face2. In addition to the Face2Security workplace authorization system, it includes the Face2Pay payment system, Face2Pass facial recognition access control system, as well as the Face2Loyalty face loyalty program.[1]
2019: Face2Action-based projects
According to information for October 2019, on the basis of Face2Action technology, Ak Bars Bank launched several pilot projects:
- Face2Pass. Every day, about 2 thousand employees of the bank and its subsidiaries go to the office simply by looking at the camera.
- loyaltyFace2Loyalty system. The project was launched Tatarstan in the coffee coffee chain CAVA. The development allows you to replace plastic discount cards with a service. facial recognition
