APACS Bio. Administration. Functions for work of duty operators

For December, 2018 the software package APACS Bio is constructed based on the APACS 3000 platform. The product is specialized as the solution for creation of the systems of access and a time recording based on the biometric readers controllers Suprema (South Korea).

In total - water - the device

The equipment Suprema can combine functionality of a number of devices in one body: biometric reader, controller of access, terminal of a time recording, card reader and smartphones and even video on-door speakerphone. APACS Bio maintains all this hardware functionality that reduces equipment costs.

Administration

Thanks to the fact that many functions in a system are automated APACS Bio allows to reduce labor costs by administration, to reduce number of errors and to provide the maximum comfort to administrators.

• Automatic search of devices in network. The utility of search of the equipment in the local area network was developed for fast system deployment on an object. At connection of the new Suprema device it at once will appear in the list of the equipment. Configuring of devices and updating of firmwares is also available in a convenient dialogue mode.
• Automatic reservation of data. Backup databases it is performed automatically, with a possibility of the choice of storage location of archive and a task of frequency of copying.
• Remote control equipment. The administrator can select the device directly on the graphic plan of the equipment and manage far off it: for example, to block or open a door or to reboot the reader.
• Import of data. Data of employees can be imported from a third-party system to avoid repeated input.
• Individual preference of client applications. The appearance of client applications can be configured individually as it is usual also to conveniently specific operators. Besides, you provide to each operator access only to those functions and commands which are necessary to it for work to reduce number of errors and abuses of official position.

Comfortable work of operators

APACS Bio is developed based on the software package APACS 3000 which is applied decades on thousands objects and during this time "acquired" all functionality necessary for the domestic customer, noted in AAM Systems. Not the complete list of functions for comfortable work of duty operators and operators of bureau of admissions is included below:

• Monitoring of location of people on graphic plans of premises
• Automatic recording of video at the time of pass
• Electronic checkpoint – display of a card with information on the employee at the time of pass
• Comfortable entering of biometric data – from specialized desktop readers or far off from "working" devices
• Automatic data entry from passports and other documents thanks to integration into the Regula scanner (recognition of types 233 of the different countries given from documents 4754)
• Creation of models and convenient personalisation of plastic cards: data of the employee are automatically transferred to the card model from the Card file

APACS Bio v.7.2 with the improved installation and management

On October 17, 2018 Sistemz AAM company announced improvement of functionality on installation and management of a software package, in particular, the Control panel application is added.

APACS Bio v.7.2 is implemented:

• Connection of biometric Suprema controllers in the leading/slave mode.
• Full support of special functions of the equipment Suprema. In particular, loading in terminals of own images, sound files, messages, etc. Besides became possible to use biometric terminals as the call panel of the video on-door speakerphone.
• The improved interface of client applications.

APACS Bio. Features and modifications

For January, 2018, APACS Bio, developed based on a universal software package APACS 3000, is specialized for work with the biometric systems of access and time recording. Having inherited from APACS 3000 reliability, scalability and the interface, APACS Bio has a number of the features connected with use biometric of technologies ACS.

The APACS Bio system is under construction based on biometrics devices of Suprema company (South Korea) which are at the same time both controllers, and fingerprint readers and also can play a role of card readers and terminals of a time recording.

• Support of different options of pass (fingerprint, PIN code, card + different combinations of these modes)

• Broad spectrum of commands of operational management
• Support of all URV hardware modes in controllers
• Specific modes of Suprema devices (for example, mode of double authorization)
• Settings of restriction of repeated passes on a specific kotroller

Modifications

• APACS Bio Light is the basic version of the software

Modification of APACS Bio Light is intended for creation of the small and medium systems of access and a time recording with basic functionality. APACS Bio Light provides fast connection and setup of biometric Suprema controllers, convenient input of fingerprints, maintaining user base, creation of reports on events of access and a worked time of employees.

• APACS Bio Pro is an expanded software version

Modification of APACS Bio Pro allows to implement the biometric system of access and a time recording on large objects and also on objects with increased requirements to the security level. It includes all functionality of APACS Bio Light and additional opportunities:

• The monitor of location of employees on an object
• Automatic recording of video at the time of pass, the choice and viewing from the event list
• Automatic creation of reports and mailing on specified by e-mail
• Development of own user interface via the standard browser
• Monitoring of biometric controllers on plans of premises
• Electronic checkpoint: display of a card of the employee at the time of pass
• Editor of models of cards
