2018: Announcement of SSD ADATA IUSP33F
On September 7, 2018 it became known that Adata Technology announced SSD Adata IUSP33F with the PCIe interface in the BGA body (ball grid array). In combination with PCIe Gen3x2 interface and memory the 3D Flash model IUSP33F is the solution for tablets, notebooks, mini-PC, thin clients and wearable electronics.
With development a 3D flash memory and production improvement SSD drives become easier and more compact. The size of the BGA body 11.5 x 13 mm and a flash memory of NAND provide it the form factor comparable with eMMC. The low profile allows to use it where the sizes of the end device are critical.
Despite diminutiveness the IUSP33F model does not concede to dimensional analogs in speed. It is equipped with PCIe Gen3x2 interface meeting the NVMe 1.3 standard. Speeds of a read and write reach 1195MB/with and 940MB/with, and speeds of accidental access in a read and write are 140,000 and 114,000 input-output operations per second.
The drive also supports the buffer of memory of a host, providing steadily high performance without use of DRAM due to use of memory of a host for data management at the reduced energy consumption. Besides, in the IUSP33F model the 3D flash memory of 128GB and 256GB is applied.
The model supports LDPC and SRAM technologies for elimination of a broad spectrum of errors that allows to increase reliability of data transmission and to increase service life. The E2E Data Protection technology protects from damages, reducing a downtime and reducing maintenance expenses.
According to the producer, all components of the IUSP33F model passed careful test for functioning and reliability, guaranteeing to consumers a qualitative product with a high performance and reliability[1].
