2022: Inclusion in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade

On August 30, 2022, Aerodisk announced the inclusion of the DSS computing capacity expansion module in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The role of DSS expansion modules is to scale storage solution resources, whether it be disk capacity or computing power. The modules connect to the controller - the "brain" of the system and the control center of all workflows - and allow you to increase DSS performance.

However, until now, only controllers have been entered in the register of certified equipment of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, while disk shelves and modules for expanding computing capacity did not get there. For hardware customers, this created a legal vacuum: if the company installed DSS from the registry, then, if it needed to expand and scale, questions arose about the status of the expansion modules.

The Aerodisk company solved this issue due to the fact that the module for expanding computing power was included in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The module, which received the positive conclusion of the ministerial commission on import substitution, is universal for all lines and models of DSS of the company.

The registration procedure was carried out according to the usual algorithm and was completed within the standard time frame.
