2023: Product Creation
In early March 2023, it became known about the creation of the company Cleverkopter"" (resident Skolkovo"") unmanned aerial vehicle to monitor pipelines and oil and gas pipelines. Drone with the name "Aeromedic Mini" received a night vision system. The developer lists the following characteristics and features of his device:
- Maximum take-off weight - 30 kg;
- Vertical take-off and landing;
- Payload - up to 5 kg;
- Cruising speed - 100 km/h;
- Hybrid power plant (1 gasoline and 8 electric engines);
- Complete automation of the control system;
- Maximum flight range with a load of 5 kg - 200 km;
- The radius of direct radio communication is up to 50 km;
- Maximum time in the air in horizontal flight - up to 2 hours;
- Possibility of variations: cargo/flight range according to the customer's assignment;
- Fuel - motor gasoline;
- The payload is placed inside the fuselage.
The drone can be equipped with a three-axis gyro-stabilized night vision camera with 30x zoom for monitoring infrastructure at any time of the day. According to Sergey Gusev, General Director of Cleverkopter, the assembly of the Aeromedic Mini drone is being completed by early March 2023, its tests will begin in the coming months.
The card of the Cleverkopter company on the Skolkovo website says that the startup's drone will work out a comprehensive communication system with UAVs located outside of direct radio communications. The complex long-distance communication system will consist of the Iridium satellite system, supplemented by an optical system using computer vision algorithms. All this is necessary for safe landing during the take-off of the product outside the radio communication (landing for unloading and loading).[1]
