2019: Start of service for stream cargo insurance

AlphaInsurance and the aggregator of intracity transportations Vezubr started on June 27, 2019 service for stream cargo insurance. Thus, now all transportations performed through the platform are insured.

The policy for the cargo owner is made out automatically on each accepted transportation and protects from risks of loss, death and damage of a load. Vezubr acts as the partner of insurance company, participating in issue of the insurance policy.

At the same time AlphaInsurance is also attracted for scoring of new users of the aggregator: cargo owners and drivers. Depending on score assigned according to the results of check, the user can receive in a personal account a credit limit on order placement on transportation or increase already existing.

More than 150 thousand insured events at cargo transportation were only in the last two years recorded, more than 60 thousand from them are plunders. Insurance payments for 2017-2018 made more than 5 billion rubles. Together with Vezubr we developed the service allowing to receive online insurance protection, and together with it and confidence that in case of damages or loss of a load the insurance company will give a financial support, having compensated the cost of damages of the insured load or its total cost in case of complete loss. At the same time the user of the platform does not need to take any additional actions — the policy is made out automatically thanks to the technology of digital assessment of requests for transportations developed by us and the implemented integration of an insurance system into the Vezubr system — Irina Alpatova, the deputy CEO for corporate insurance noted AlphaInsurance.

The demand of stream cargo insurance is connected with a highly intellectual operation mode of Vezubr which is, in essence, Airbnb analog for the market of automobile cargo transportation. A system is constructed on mathematical algorithms of determination of transport suitable under the order and the systems of sharing — multi-layer system of mailing of the order proceeding from a set of criteria: the current remoteness of the car from a loading point, the rating of carrier, a point of the termination of a route, presence of already appointed orders at carrier.
