2021: PLM Component for Autodesk Inventor 2022
Appius, a Russian developer of PLM solutions on the 1C platform: Enterprise, June 29, 2021 announced the release of the PLM component for Autodesk Inventor 2022
Appius's single-window PLM component provides two-way information exchange on product composition and documents with Inventor 2022.
Compared to interoperability with previous versions of the CAD system, the Inventor 2022 PLM component has additional capabilities:
- Build an assembly structure tree in the database based on information from the Inventor 2022 structured specification
- Working with phantom assembly features, with phantom component files added to the active assembly document, and no phantom objects are created in the database.
- The loading of the assembly diagrams of the models is taken into account: if the assembly drawing contains a reference to the assembly diagram, its file will be automatically loaded to the Active document of the assembly drawing;
- Automatically create PDF drawing files that are linked to the Active Drawing Document by the Original link.
- Added the "Disregard Purchased Status" setting, which allows you to work with structured assembly specifications and correctly define standard products;
- the option of saving objects in the Reference Geometry communication system is implemented if the assembly unit contains components that are not BOM objects;
- provides a dedicated component installation mechanism for Inventor 2022.
The update is available as part of the current technical support, more detailed installation information is shown in the maintenance file of the PLM component distribution to Inventor (2021.22.3.60).
