ADQM Control Release

Arenadata has released the ADQM Control product for monitoring and analyzing the status of Arenadata QuickMarts (ADQM) clusters. The company announced this on August 7, 2025.

It is a DBA tool that simplifies the administration and optimization of ADQM cluster databases.

We are pleased to present to all Arenadata product users a tool for better monitoring and analyzing the status of an ADQM product based on. DBMS ClickHouse Arenadata systematically implements a strategy to implement specialized and more functional solutions for deeper analysis and management of its products under the general name Control. The development of ADQM Control lasted more than a year and a half, and hundreds of product and optimization tasks were solved within it. • Monitoring the Status of ADQM Clusters Based on System and Service Metrics
• The functionality of collecting, analyzing, storing and visualizing information on the status of connected ADQM clusters is implemented, including:
• Heat map - visually convenient presentation of information about the status of all hosts of ADQM clusters;
• A configurable list of alerts about potential and recorded critical problems recorded on ADQM cluster hosts.
• configurable list of incidents - alerts about problems, combined into a single logical group;
• Store and view alert history based on configured ADQM cluster host service metrics and can be sorted and filtered.
• Monitoring, collection of metrics and analysis of ADQM DBMS status

It is possible to collect data and monitor the status of tables with ADQM cluster data, including at the column level, with the possibility of their visual and tabular presentation for more efficient management of ADQM and available cluster resources. This is possible due to information about rarely used data and the optimal choice of compression codecs.

• Analyzing User Queries
  

The functionality of analyzing user SQL queries is implemented, including such capabilities as collecting various metrics by user queries (user, syntax, execution status, runtime, consumed resources, execution frequency and many others), sorting and filtering collected data, visualizing data by queries in the form of convenient graphs. This allows you to quickly and conveniently analyze the user load, identify and prevent the execution of problematic requests, determine the consumed and required resources, diagnose errors that have occurred, increasing the overall efficiency and stability of ADQM DBMS clusters.

• Access and User Control Functionality
  

The basic functions of ADQM Control user management are implemented with the ability to display a list of users, filter it and with the search function. Password policy management is also available to users.

• SSL support for all ADQM Control services
  

In order to ensure a modern level of data security, it is possible to securely connect to ADQM clusters, as well as protect communication channels between all components of the ADQM Control service by supporting SSL traffic encryption. Configuring SSL connections is simple and convenient through the Manage SSL cluster action on the system interface.
