Infinera and Arista Networks form technology alliance
On May 18, 2015, Infinera and Arista Networks, Inc. announced the organization of a technology alliance, the purpose of which is to create turnkey scalable solutions for urban and regional cloud networks.
The joint interoperable solution is based on the integration of the Arista 7000 line of switches with the Infinera Cloud Xpress platform and is designed for the data center and cloud markets.
Arista 7000 X Switch Capabilities
The devices have an elastic architecture, advanced programming capabilities, provide control over the virtual network, high performance. The Arista 7000 X switches run on the Arista EOS platform.

As part of the opportunities:
