2019: The presentation of the security terminal for vote

On June 13, 2019 the Avtomatika concern entering into Rostec Group provided the security terminal for vote on modern element base. According to the statement of the developer, the terminal is a basis for a complex of the automation equipment of the digital polling precinct which is also developed by Avtomatika.

Terminals for vote from Rostec approve on elections in Moscow

The complex conducts the automated counting of votes, fixes results of vote and creates the report with data on vote. The terminal can be used for simultaneous elections of all levels – municipal, regional, federal.

According to Rostec, development will be tested within a pilot project on 30 polling precincts of Moscow in the uniform voting day on September 8.

Automatic equipment claims that its development is distinguished by the high level of protection against external interferences. The solution is completely autonomous and isolated thanks to lack of the operating system and Internet access.

The protected electronic terminal for vote of production of Avtomatika concern

The platform of the terminal is built on programmable 32-bit microcontrollers of STM32F7 series. Their programming is performed at the time of assembly of the device to exclude intervention in a system on the polling precinct.

In total about 16 terminals can be integrated into a complex. Capacity of each device – up to 500 voters in 12 hours. The network controller with an external thermal printer which anonymously registers each voice also is a part of the equipment of the digital polling precinct.
