2019: Start in Russia, the CIS countries and Eastern Europe

On February 1, 2019 the Axis Communications company announced start of a line of automobile gating systems in Russia, the CIS countries and Eastern Europe. The technology of automatic license plate recognition AXIS License Plate Verifier which is built in specialized network cameras is its cornerstone. Solutions are subdivided into two types depending on a task and control the admission of cars in the zones located out of roads, for example, of parking.

According to the company, Axis continues to expand a portfolio of solutions for intellectual video surveillance, and the provided automobile gating systems are the first product of the company using technology of automatic license plate recognition. Both separate components, and a set of recognition of automobile license plate numbers of AXIS P1445-LE-3 License Plate Verifier Kit are available to the order.

In a line of automobile gating systems two solutions are presented: for control of entrance and departure and for control of admission of cars. Their basis is formed by the AXIS P1445-LE network cameras and the application for automatic license plate recognition of AXIS License Plate Verifier. Systems are suitable for office parkings, the logistic centers, zones with limited access and also private parkings and parkings in residential complexes and commercial areas.

The control system of entrance and departure of machines is a small system on the basis of the video camera with the built-in ALPR-application which automatically makes all necessary for making decision on the admission of the car, including image capture of cars, check according to the throughput list and control of barriers:

• A system exercises access control in the automatic mode. For February, 2019 it verifies license plate numbers with the lists numbering up to 1000 cars in the white list and 1000 in black.
• Manages work of barriers through the input/output port which is built in the camera or the relay of input-output 0020AXIS A91
• Simple installation, setup and system deployment via the web interface
• Is suitable for small and medium objects where in a priority – convenience and high capacity, and throughput lists are updated rather seldom

The control system of admission of cars is suitable for small, average and large objects where decisions on admission are made depending on more difficult factors, such as day of the week, time of day, existence of identification these different types, and throughput lists are updated rather often.

• In addition to the camera with support of function of the video analysis the AXIS A1001 network controller with the loaded software of AXIS Entry Manager also is composition of control of admission of cars.
• The possibility of software installation of third-party developers for expansion of feature set, for example, of double identification, prohibition of reuse of the admission, payment control and so forth is provided.

2018: Release in a number of the countries of Europe and Israel

In June, 2018 the line of automobile gating systems was released in a number of the European countries and Israel.
