Axis Guard Suite is a software package for video analytics.

2020: Free access to the analytical Axis Guard Suite systems

On April 17, 2020 the Axis Communications company announced that the packet of the analytical modules AXIS Guard Suite for detection of the movement, invasion and suspects became free. Now analytical software, previously installed on series Q cameras, well without additional payment, besides, it is possible to load it free of charge on compatible lines of the cameras Axis FA, M and P with a firmware 7.kh above.

The packet of the analytical modules AXIS Guard Suite includes AXIS Fence Guard, AXIS Motion Guard and AXIS Loitering Guard. They provide detection of the movement and invasion, define threats and warn about them security service specialists. Intellectual algorithms and filters reduce the number of false operations, and expanded settings allow to lower requirements to the volume of storage, capacity, simplify search of records in certain events.

Applications are supported by several profiles and have different settings of the trigger for different areas or time of day: for example, at night it is possible to activate the loudspeaker, and to send the notification to protection point in the afternoon. The packet of analytics will be ideal for video surveillance at schools, offices, shops and at the enterprises in time off.

2015: An exit of a software package for the analysis of video AXIS Guard Suite

On October 2, 2015 the Axis company announced an exit of a software package for the analysis of video AXIS Guard Suite. He will organize the Axis network cameras in an intelligent system of security.

The packet is intended for the small and average systems and represents the available and simple solution for effective video surveillance in installation behind commercial, industrial and public territories, buildings and premises. As a part of a packet multifunction applications, they supplement network Axis video cameras and are integrated with AXIS Camera Station – a system for the work with video data optimized for the network video production Axis.

AXIS Guard Suite provides effective detection of the movement, analyzing an uncompressed video flow directly from the camera, at the same time the technology of identification of false alarms AXIS False Alarm Filtering increases reliability of process.

The packet of AXIS Guard Suite included three applications:

• AXIS Motion Guard is standard detection of the movement, it is normal on objects on which in time off there should not be people, for example, on parkings, building sites, etc.

• AXIS Fence Guard - protection of the fenced zones by identification of attempts to get or damage barrier

• AXIS Loitering Guard is detection of suspicious behavior in places where persons without specific purpose of stay can be a danger source

The packet of AXIS Guard Suite will go on sale in the fourth quarter 2015. Retail price in distributor network Axis of $149 for the application for one camera.
