2024: Product Announcement
At the end of May 2024, the Moscow company Demorobot presented the Azarrus family of robots for dismantling. These remotely controlled machines are designed to destroy buildings and other structures.
According to the developer, Azarrus robots are designed for use in cramped conditions, where ordinary excavators cannot be used due to their large dimensions. Demorobot speaks about the high accuracy of work and the low noise level due to electric drives.
Azarrus machines, according to the manufacturer, are suitable for use in various industries. Among them are named the nuclear industry, mining, underground construction, civil construction and metallurgy. Robots are able to safely operate in confined spaces, including in the presence of hazards such as fever, dust, radiation contamination, etc. The operator is at a distance, which eliminates the risk of injury.
The family of dismantling robots includes various models - Azarrus 1.0, Azarrus 1.0A, Azarrus 2.0, Azarrus 2.0A, Azarrus 5.0, Azarrus 6.0 and Azarrus 15.0. They differ in engine power, operational weight, boom range and other characteristics. Various attachments can be used, including buckets, hammers, grippers, hydraulic scissors, grabbers, hydrocutters, etc.
Depending on the model, the maximum speed reaches 2.5 km/h. Cars are capable of overcoming a slope of up to 30 degrees. Hydraulic system comprises variable-capacity axial-piston pump sensitive to load. The machines are made on a tracked chassis, which ensures good cross-country ability.[1]
