The chip - SMI230 is high-precision MEMS (microelectromechanical) - the sensor which constantly registers changes in the direction and speed of the car, estimates information on acceleration and angular speeds in three perpendicular axes and allows to define an inclination, the movement, vibration or blow irrespective of mounting orientation of the sensor. Then this information is transferred to the navigation system.
