Network solutions for the industry
Monitoring of transport containers with cells
In production process there is a set of methods to keep track of product quality that cannot be told about the subsequent stages of a chain of deliveries. Therefore the Bosch company created the solution TraQ (tracking and quality) within the concept "the Industry 4.0". With its help it is possible to keep track of product quality throughout all logistic chain — up to sale to the client. The sensors installed in a transport container or even in the product write information, important for quality assurance (levels of temperature, vibration, illumination and humidity), and then send them to a cloud. Cloud software compares indications to allowed levels. In case of exceeding of one of them clients and also suppliers of goods and services quickly receive the adequate notice. Sensors also transfer data on location of goods, allowing to calculate the expected arrival time and to optimize management of transportations. Such strategy gives powerful advantages to all participants of a chain: thanks to operational notifications it is possible to take quickly measures in case of damage of goods, having avoided a stop of production and the accompanying costs. The sensors integrated into a product help to define the damage reason, whether it be when transporting or in usage time the buyer. TraQ is a key component in assortment of the solutions for intellectual and economic management of a digital supply chain developed by Bosch. The solution for work with sensors is going to be brought to the market in 2017.
Network solutions for the "smart" house
Security and comfort with intellectual management The system of the "smart" house of Bosch allows to connect heating, lighting, smoke detectors and household appliances to a single platform, and then with ease to manage them using the smartphone or the tablet. A core of such system is the controller. Through this command center all mentioned components are connected to each other and to the Internet. Among other elements of a system there are an intellectual radiator temperature regulator and the contact window module. All data created by the "smart" house are stored in the central controller, allowing clients to manage them independently. Data go via the Internet only in that case when owners request temperature in the house on the smartphone, being en route. It is important to note that before sending to IoT cloud these data are reliably ciphered. In future versions of a product it is planned that a system will send to the smartphone the notification when opening a door or window. As a result more comfortable conditions and the increased security without a special security system are guaranteed to the owner.
