Business assistant (mobile application)

In November, 2016 the fiscal data operator "First OFD" released the mobile application Business assistant allowing users to control in real time sales and to monitor the status of work of cash desks. The application is available to platforms iOS and Android. In November, 2016 it so far the first mobile application for work with cash desks which is available in App Store and Google Play.

The fiscal data operator is the company which will be an intermediary between the cash equipment of the trading companies and the tax inspection. Under the new law on online cash desks (FZ-54), since February 1, 2017 all trading companies – from small booths to large networks – should sign the agreement with OFD, registering the new cash equipment. All cash desks by that moment should be with Internet access, and fiscal data operators will be obliged to collect information on all sales from online cash desks, to store it, and once a day to transfer in FTS via a secure channel.

Mobile application Business assistant gives the chance to online control key indicators of trade: sales volumes, the number of the punched checks, an indicator of the average check for any time frame, etc. As explain in The First OFD company, this information will help the companies to adjust assortment policy, to create the loyalty program and to plan marketing efforts.

In the application there is an opportunity to deliver and trace the purposes on sales.

Besides, mobile application informs on key events and a current status of operation of the cash registers (CR) – the user sees reports on the number of the cash desks which are in network and transferring data to OFD and to the cash desks which are in offline mode.

Further First OFD is going to add to the application the cartographic services allowing to see all outlets on the map of the country and the register of events on the cash register equipment (activation, write-off of means, transition of the cash register equipment in offline, etc.).

In November, 2016 the application is available to downloading in app stores of App Store and Google Play. Registration at the fiscal data operator First OFD is necessary for work with Business assistant, however also unauthorized users for whom the attraction mode is provided can estimate possibilities of the application.

"The first OFD" is interested in work both with large, and with small and medium business. Initially target audience of the application was small business with low extent of automation. But already the first responses of the representatives of large retail testing the application confirmed interest in Business Assistant even on condition of existence of the serious internal analytical systems. According to one of our clients, advantage of Business assistant is that statistics is near at hand in the mobile device and is always available in real time, but does not form far off with lateness for several days, - explained TAdviser in First OFD.

In connection with the new legislation, the market of OFD gains steam. Representatives of different fiscal data operators say that they will earn not only from basic function, but just from additional services. Many OFD actively work on their creation. For example, the Evotor company together with OFD Platform affiliated enterprise creates applications for own online cash desk - the smart terminal (it is already included by FTS in the list of the certified cash desks), using which in real time entrepreneurs can monitor sales (volumes, geography, etc.).

Now the market of the new cash register equipment (what will be surely issued by electronic checks since July 1, 2017) is estimated approximately at 1.5 million copies. Afterwards growth up to 3.5 million cash desks — in 2018 is expected", – the CEO of OFD Platform company Anton Rumyantsev says about the potential of growth of clients of OFD.
