Project StudioCS RPE is the specialized software product for automated design of the systems of cable channels, a fire and security alarm, the notification, video surveillance, powder and gas fire extinguishing, control and access control in the environment of AutoCAD.

On November 28, 2013 the CSoft Development company announced release of the version of Project StudioCS of RPE 3.1.

Project StudioCS RPE 3.1 supports AutoCAD 2013 and AutoCAD 2014 (32-and 64-bit versions).


Main innovations of this version

  • Calculation of a current capacity on loops of devices is implemented.
  • Are implemented calculation of a current capacity on RIP and calculation of capacity of the RIP storage batteries.
  • Calculation of voltage drop in loops is implemented.
  • In a complex of checks a number of parameters for control of a current capacity and capacity of RIP is added.
  • The admission of address ranges on loops is implemented.
  • At creation of the address systems there was an opportunity to set a reserve of address lines (as a percentage).
  • The report "The cable schedule of power supply" is implemented.
  • Reports of cable schedules are broken on PPK/SU.
  • The report Address map is considerably finished. Now it is broken on PPK/SU.
  • End of commands which was performed only by the key press of ESC earlier happens also at the key press of ENTER now.
  • Automatic detection of premises became possible. Function which after the indication of a point of the premises creates the premises at once is added.
  • There was a possibility of import of premises from the dwg-drawings prepared in ArchiCAD. This function allows to create one key click of a mouse premises, to automatically get numbers, names and heights according to information which contains in the dwg-drawings saved in ArchiCAD.
  • The command of creation of premises and floors contains four modes: on two points, on three points, the polyline and the indication of a closed curve on the plan. It does process of creation of floors and premises simpler and convenient in comparison with old functionality. Difficult circuits of premises (for example, with overhangs of columns) are automatically approximated by a rectangular zone for further arrangement of the equipment.
  • Viewing, laying of Commission on Narcotic Drugs in the existing routes, removal of Commission on Narcotic Drugs, height of routes it is very convenient to make in 3D - a display mode. Therefore during the work with Commission on Narcotic Drugs the illumination of all routes requiring large volumes of memory is removed.
  • The 3D display - a type of model is improved when changing parameters of elements.
  • The command with explosion of the plan which replaces objects of RPE with CAD system primitives saves the file before explosion now and opens the created new file.
  • The choice and installation of callout are available directly from a context menu of an element whereas earlier for this purpose it was required to open a modal dialog box from which the callout type was selected from a context menu.
  • Exceeding of level of permanent noise for premises is taken out in setup of the project.
  • The feature to attach to the equipment in a DB and to unload on the drawing of the scheme of its connection is added.
  • The separate layer for annunciators behind a drop ceiling is entered.
  • The Master of struts who allows to keep track of correctness of consolidation of sections of struts in the general structure of a strut is added.
  • The augmented list of the supported equipment manufacturers of RPE.
  • Serious work on optimization of an expense of RAM and increase in high-speed performance during the work with big projects is carried out.
  • More than 40 different tasks are carried out: the errors received by the online-system of collecting of errors are corrected.

A set of improvements of GUI is implemented. There were small improvements in different parts of a system.
