Cognitive Agro Control is the system of automatic control of cleaning of grain.
According to official figures, in Russia annually because of "a subjective factor" (losses during transportation, insufficient quality of accounting of agricultural products, etc.) about 1 million tons grain are lost. The IoT-solution for agriculture provided by Cognitive Technologies company on October 6, 2017 is designed to help to control a way of grain from a field to an elevator and to reduce losses of grain.
Cognitive Agro Control represents a hardware and software system which allows to organize online exchange of key parameters of process of cleaning grain, their transfer on the command center server cleaning and also their accumulation for conducting statistical analysis. For this purpose on work items of combines, trucks, points of shipment of grain crops (accumulative bunkers), an elevator sensors and RFID tags are installed.
How it works
For example, on the harvester of the combine the RFDI tag is set. And on the combine — the reader. Thus, a system can define with what equipment the combine works. As harvesters happen different width, and during cleaning their different models can be used, data retrieveds allow to know harvester type, and, therefore, its width that gives the chance at knowledge of the passable way (decides on use of data of GPS) to precisely count the processed area.
The reader installed on the combine sees RFDI tags of the trucks approaching it for shipment of grain. It reads out their ID and transfers to the server. A system determines by label number (the reference book where ID contain all is entered into a system and on what equipment they are installed) what truck is near the combine. By data from the sensors installed on the combine bunker the mass of the grain shipped to the truck is defined.
These data are verified when unloading the truck on an elevator. When the truck comes on an elevator - it is the closed territory, on its entrance there are scales and the reader of tags.
The truck is weighed, data from the reader allow to know what for the vehicle arrived. Data arrive on the server. The truck unloads. On departure it is weighed empty. Thus, the mass of the grain shipped on an elevator is defined. If the mass of grain shipped by the combine is equal to this weight, on the throughput traffic light green light lights up, and the truck can leave the territory of an elevator.
Besides, a system can understand that shipment (raising of a body) is made in elevator perimeter. As elevator perimeter GPS points are known to a system, it is possible to control whether there was a body raising in the territory of an elevator or out of it. Otherwise a system gives the report about a suspicious event.
Such approach provides complete transparency of the main business processes.
