2024: Commercial Consent Platform Launch Plan

Until the end of 2024, and Bank of Russia Ministry of Digital Development financial market participants plan to launch a commercial consent platform (PKS) on. The commercial consent platform will allow citizens to receive the services of banks, brokers, microfinance and insurance organizations without additional confirmation of information about themselves. In the near future, PKS may earn in the field of medicine, as well as retail.

It is assumed that the Russians will not need to additionally enter personal information about themselves - it will be enough to provide consent through "Public services." At the same time, the platform will store only the consent of citizens, and not personal information about them.

According to market participants, the platform will initially function on the basis of an open API. In the future, it is possible to use other formats of interaction.

When a person needs to remotely receive the service of a financial organization, and it will not have enough data about it, the person will be able to consent to the transfer of this data from another financial organization that has this information. For example, if a person needs to extend the mortgage insurance policy, he will be able to agree that his credit institution will transfer the necessary information to the insurer, the Central Bank explained.
