2025: Platform Launch
Ministry of Construction and Housing and Public Utilities Russia launched a basic version of the Construction Industry Data Platform. The initiative is designed to increase the volume of machine-readable development data and contribute to the accelerated introduction of technologies artificial intelligence into industry processes. The department announced this on October 24, 2025.
The platform was created within the framework of the federal project "New Rhythm of Construction," which is part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life." The project is focused on achieving the indicators set for the national development goals of Russia and approved by Presidential Decree No. 309.
Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Public Utilities of Russia Konstantin Mikhailik noted that the platform is more than a database. According to Konstantin Mikhailik, by combining the efforts of the Ministry of Construction of Russia, the regions and the professional community, the department is translating the industry into digital language in order to open the way for artificial intelligence. The Deputy Minister stressed that the aim is for the projects to generate clean, structured data ready for artificial intelligence analysis from the very beginning. Konstantin Mikhailik said that this will make it possible to make more accurate decisions, optimize resources and bring the industry to a qualitatively new level of efficiency and technological independence, determined by the country's national development goals.
On the platform, the first datasets related to multi-apartment construction, private housing construction and housing construction cooperatives have already been placed in the public domain.
Nikolai Kozak, Managing Director for IT and Digital Transformation of ДОМ.РФ, noted that the launch of the basic version of the Industry Data Platform is a significant step towards creating a single information space for the construction industry. According to Nikolai Kozak, the decision is based on data from the country's housing market. The managing director said the company is committed to providing market participants with tools for effective analytics and informed decision-making.[1]
