2020: CyberPower Pilot Smart-UPS Series Presentation
On March 23, 2020, CyberPower introduced the budget series SMART UPS PILOT - linear-interactive uninterruptible power supplies with a sinusoidal output voltage shape. The series is represented by four models of PLT1000ELCDRT2U, PLT1500ELCDRT2U, PLT2000ELCDRT2U, PLT3000ELCDRT2U, with a capacity from 1000VA/900W to 3000VA/2700W, respectively.
The device is distinguished by a low cost, which will attract the attention of a corporate customer who is careful about the budget. Quite rich functionality covers almost all the needs for organizing guaranteed power supply for server, network, telecommunications, various engineering equipment.
The models are equipped with a group of controlled sockets (4 pieces IEC320 C13), which makes it possible to control the load via the SNMP protocol through a single interface, prioritize when setting up power on or off, and remotely control the reboot order of the connected equipment. And a group of unmanaged sockets (4 pieces IEC320 C13) designed to protect critical equipment and the risk of its erroneous disconnection.
Another feature of the models is the ability to connect external battery modules (EBM) even to the younger PLT1000ELCDRT2U model. Thus, up to 10 external battery modules can be connected to any model representing the Pilot series, depending on the battery life needs.
Providing power to the protected equipment without switching to batteries is carried out in a wide range (165-290V), which allows you to take care of the battery life. Other characteristics include the presence of a built-in voltage regulator, compatibility with APFC power supplies, a slot for installing an SNMP card, the presence of an information LCD display, and a rich set of communication slots. And, which is becoming important for the corporate customer, they significantly save energy costs by using GreenPower UPS technology patented by CyberPower.
As of March 2020, PILOT SMART UPSs are already available in distributor warehouses.
