2020: Presentation of DJi Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced
On December 20, 2020, Skymec announced the DJi Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced (M2EA) drone. M2EA is a compact and versatile tool that allows you to perform any tasks with high accuracy. On board is a high-resolution thermal imaging camera, an optical camera with a 32-fold digital zoom, as well as an RTK (Real Time Kinematic) module for centimeter positioning accuracy.
High resolution thermal imaging camera
A thermal imaging camera with a resolution of 640 * 512PC and a frame rate of 30Hz allows you to clearly and quickly identify objects and quickly respond to extreme situations. At the same time, the built-in temperature sensor supports point measurement and measurement area.
Increase from a safe distance
Digital magnification on the optical camera allows you to make clear images and videos at a safe distance. This is possible by fast switching between thermal imaging and optical cameras, as well as by split mode.
Precision Positioning System
The DJi Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced drone is equipped with a removable RTK module that allows you to achieve centimetre accuracy when studying the terrain. M2EA also helps to build routes from 240 points for missions in difficult conditions.
Maximum flexibility
The light and portable M2EA drone can take off in less than one minute. Due to the high speed of take-off and descent, it is able to work even in difficult conditions.
Additional features
- MSDK (Mobile Software Development Kit)
- AierSense
- Password Protection password
- Discreet mode
- Self-heating of batteries
- Possibility of operation at temperatures -10 - 40 C
2018: Start of Sales [DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise
At the end of October 2018 unmanned aerial vehicle DJI , Mavic 2 Enterprise was introduced and went on sale, intended for corporate and government customers.
The drone is equipped with a 12-megapixel camera mounted on a stabilized three-axle suspension with a 2-fold optical and 3-fold digital zoom, as well as a secure 24 GB drive and a memory card slot microSD up to 128 GB. All photographs taken with a drone receive a time stamp indicating the date, time and location where the pictures were taken.
The main feature of the DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise was a modular design that allows you to install various accessories - for example, a spotlight with a luminous flux of 2400 lm, a loudspeaker with the function of reproducing recording and a flashing beacon for night tasks or warning aircraft about the presence of a drone.
AirSense technology, which has been used in UAVs, automatically notifies the pilot of ADS-B signals transmitted by nearby aircraft and helicopters, providing an additional level of safety in overloaded airspace.
Built-in data security for sensitive missions protects internal drone memory with a password. There is an offline flight mode (Local Data Mode), which allows the drone to work without an Internet connection.
According to the developers, the flight time of the drone without recharging exceeds 30 minutes, and the maximum speed reaches 72 km/h.
DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise went on sale at a price of $2 thousand. At an additional cost, the Fly More Kit is available , consisting of a pair of batteries, office and car chargers, a USB cable, a soft cover and two spare screws.[1]
