2020: More than 300 racks of the equipment

As of September 30, 2020 the DPC of RKS contains more than 300 racks of the equipment which are used for formation of uniform "cloud" to which all enterprises of Roskosmos are connected. It allows to store safely data, to make computing transactions and also to ensure communication and joint work of certain specialists and the whole enterprises of the industry.

2016: Reorganization of work of DPC

IT specialists of "The Russian space systems" completed several stages of implementation of digital technologies of design, production and management. Work of the data processing center (DPC) is reorganized – the updated opportunities optimize processing and information storage of the enterprises of the space-rocket industry. It became known on November 15, 2016.

"We began to use the systems of virtualization for industrial automated design engineering systems, – the chief of the center of convergent technologies of RKS Dmitry Myakonkin told. – Implemented Virtual Desktop Infrastructure technology which allows to create virtual IT infrastructure and to develop full-fledged jobs based on one server".

The automated IT systems developed by specialists of RKS increase efficiency of different divisions of the companies.

"The staff of department of development of software applications and web technologies under the leadership of Yulia Zaytseva developed and implemented dispatching system of workshop of printed circuit boards, – the chief of the center of corporate information systems Pavel Kuleshov noted. – We automated operational production management, accounting of the made products and defects and also providing information for control of accomplishment of the plan".

It is going to integrate dispatching system of workshop with an automated design engineering system of technology processes and to implement a barcoding method for simplification of work of contractors in workshop. Until the end of the year regular operation of automatic management system Treasury and trial operation of the Logistics system will begin.

"Within development of IT capacity of the company we received complete management over DPC, having refused services of third-party management company, – Dmitry Myakonkin added. – Completed upgrade of the systems of ensuring life activity of this center and installed the server hardware. It will allow to make high-quality breakthrough in development of systems for needs of RKS and all industry".

For November 15 there is a process of transfer of services of Roskosmos State corporation to DPC of RKS, the new services for engineers and designers are deployed.

Reorganization of DPC became possible thanks to participation of group of specialists: head of department of DPC Anna Mitina, chief of group of operation Alexander Makhotin, chief of a technical support team of the IT equipment Kirill Shcherbin, chief specialist of group of information systems administration Alexander Baykov and others.^[1]
