The operator of commercial data centers, 3Data, has opened its first large data processing center "Medvedkovo" of the HyperScale project at ul. Chermyanskaya, 4s13, which can contain up to 4 thousand racks with a total capacity of up to 36 MW of load. The data center consists of 16 rooms located on 4 floors, each of which can accommodate up to 250 racks with a consumption of each of 6 kW. The building was built by PNK group from structures produced at the factories of that company. The data center received Uptime Institute Design and Facility certificates in Tier III class. The total area of ​ ​ the halls built in the new building is 25 thousand square meters. m, which includes 3 thousand square meters. m for office infrastructure and even warehouses.

Initially, the company's strategy was 3Data to create high-quality data centers of walking distance with high-quality service and good reliability. At the same time, it was supposed to build small data centers that should fit into the existing urban development and be located as close as possible to customers. The strategy turned out to be so successful that the company has already built 15 facilities, and together with those under construction, it turns out to be more than 20. Moreover, at the time of commissioning, each of the objects of its area was already rented by 80%. That is why it was decided to nevertheless build a large data center that will satisfy the needs of large customers in the infrastructure for large computing complexes. This is how the concept of the HyperScale project was born.

In particular, as clients at a press conference on the opening of the first data center of the HyperScale project, there were the domain registrar "РЕГ.ру," which is now engaged in creating a turnkey infrastructure in the customer's data center, and the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant.

Reg.ru rents 40 racks in the new data center and will fill it with its own assembly equipment for installing ON the company "" and 1C organizing import substitution services using private clouds. The company has developed a tool for analyzing 1C configurations, identifying bottlenecks in them and optimizing them, and will offer a cloud infrastructure optimized for 1C software.

NLMK, as a large metallurgical company, has several data centers both in Russia and abroad. It was decided to create a distributed computing infrastructure to ensure the operation of information systems, and the data center will 3Data be used as a key element of this infrastructure.

3Data plans include the creation of a regional HyperScale center infrastructure. The company has already built a data center in Vladivostok together with KeyPoint on 880 racks. In addition, similar projects are being built in Stavropol, Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk, which are planned to be launched next year.
