Decos

The VimpelCom company (a brand Beeline) announced in May, 2017 creation of own digital ecosystem — Decos. The technology of virtualization of network functions (NFV) and the principle of a marketplace is the cornerstone of a system. Decos will use the open code that will allow partners of Beeline to integrate quickly the services into a system, and will give to corporate clients the choice of digital products in service quality on demand (as a service). The project is going to be finished fully in 2018.

The ecosystem of Decos represents a set of modules for providing VAS-and OTT services, IoT- and M2M-solutions, cloud call centers, telephony and video services. It is implemented by analogy with mobile app stores and is divided into two segments: for partners and for clients. Partners receive the unified tools for development of own services for needs of clients and also the interface for their connection. In turn, corporate clients can select necessary service on "show-window" and connect it in a personal account using mobile application or the web interface of the platform.

Within the new digital concept of Decos cloud solutions for corporate clients are started. The technology of virtualization of end devices of the customer in a cloud of the operator (vCPE) is their cornerstone. Beeline B2B-services, including Cloud automatic telephone exchange are already transferred to this solution. The virtual solution differs from traditional network connection in an opportunity to work on any access networks: mobile, fixed or Wi-Fi, the open Internet.

According to VimpelCom, corporate clients Beeline in Moscow and St. Petersburg can use necessary services at all the offices regardless of their geographic location thanks to opportunities of the virtual platform. Since the second half of 2017 expansion of geography and the number of the services provided by means of vCPE is planned.
