2018: Acquisition by VMware company

On August 23, 2018 the VMware company announced the final agreement about acquisition of technologies and the Dell EMC Service Assurance Suite commands — the software from Dell EMC focused on telecom operators, service of providers and their customers which provides serviceability check of network, monitoring of its performance and the analysis of the root reasons of failure.

Adding of Dell EMC Service Assurance Suite technology in a portfolio of VMware Telco NFV, as envisioned by the company, will help telecom operators to provide due service quality, to increase reliability and to optimize operation of network and clouds on all physical and virtual infrastructure of the operator for more rapid implementation of new competitive services.

Ensuring guaranteed quality of services becomes extremely important as clients expect transition of operators from 4G on a 5G, explained in VMware. After completion of the transaction with Dell EMC the company is going to use functionality of the solution Dell EMC Service Assurance Suite to help the customers to accelerate process of deployment of the virtualized network functions with providing an end-to-end system of ensuring guaranteed quality.

2013: Release
