2019: Inclusion of Delphix in a product portfolio of OCS

On May 22, 2019 the company OCS announced expansion of the direction infrastructure software and inclusion in the product portfolio of the platform dynamic data Delphix – solutions on virtualizations DBMS and to masking of data. To the partner canal the command of the infrastructure software of OCS developing the direction of VAD distribution of the corporate software for the last 15 years promotes solutions of Delphix. Consultations on products are held by profile specialists of distributor who are ready to organize demonstration of work of the platform and training at the request of the partner and his customer.

The Delphix software product, first of all, is focused on the customers equipped with big bases which data are used when developing by both internal, and external agents in the conditions of a high-speed output of new products to the market – for example on the company of the financial sector or cellular operators. The platform can be used also in the organizations with large DBMS for which analysts regular access to complete up-to-date data is necessary. Software of Delphix has a circle of application and high variability of installation – the solution can be set both in local, and in cloud or hybrid environments.

Mechanisms of work Delphix are based on continuous collection of information from databases, applications and file systems, compression, regular synchronization with sources and registration of the current changes. The platform creates virtual copies, ergonomic, ported and completely available to reading/record, and in case of need automatically applies methods of masking or tokenization of confidential data. Thus the absolute privacy is provided to data. Delphix also offers functions of quick access, check, monitoring of data, creations of the reporting under their use and independent setup, return to early statuses, creations of tabs, recovery, data exchange. The platform allows to reduce considerably costs of time and resources for providing data due to repeated decrease in volume of the stored data.

For May, 2019 Delphix supports 14000 TB client data that almost in one thousand times exceeds information volume, stored in Library of Congress of the USA. A third of clients of the company make the Fortune 50 list, among them four of five largest banks, two of five largest telecommunication companies and also two retailers of the TOP-5 list. Since 2018 the weekly activity of users of the Delphix platform increased by 50%, and the number of databases and other sources of information grew twice.

For August, 2016 Delphix supports an opportunity virtualizations databases Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.

2013: Effects of implementation of Delphix

Implementation of Delphix helps to reach:

• economy of disk space which is selected for creation of test databases. Economy is reached because during creation of the next virtual DB of Delphix stores not all DB but only changes which to it are made by the developer or the tester. At the expense of it the possibility of economy up to 90% of finance costs for disk arrays of data is provided;
• considerable acceleration of development process and software testing. It is reached because the developer/tester has an opportunity independently to create almost unlimited number of virtual DB for more effective debugging and software testing. Moreover, in relation to each virtual DB the developer/tester can instantly "roll away" by means of the intuitive interface a DB status to any timepoint on a time line;
• increases in efficiency in processes of backup and data recovery after failure. Within these processes, software of Delphix provides fast data recovery to the last correct status and also easy and fast verification of backup copies, with an opportunity to exclude participation of DBA in this process;
• release of highly skilled personnel (DBA) for other tasks as developers/testers can independently execute the most part of tasks of creation of virtual DB without participation of DBA;
• fast formation of "heavy" reports, without increase in load of the process DB. It is reached because so-called "heavy reports" can be created on the basis of virtual DB.
