Today in Russia the innovation productions actively develop and the most modern developments are applied. One of the directions in which there is an active growth is the information technology sphere. There is an opinion that this development does not concern personal devices, but it absolutely not so. And one of examples is the protected DEPO Myst R80 tablet.

When it comes about the tablet computer, usually represent stylish, easy, compact and often very fragile device which lies on a table, is used for check of mail or watching movies. But as practice shows, the mobile device allowing to receive, send and process quickly information is necessary also in places with other level of comfort: on buildings, in workshops, on drilling platforms, in mines and on polygons. Here the minimum distance between the producer and the customer which will allow to give service support is extremely important and if necessary to adapt the device to needs of the client.

One more major aspect of use of industrial tablets is security. The key requirement imposed to the used equipment – production or, at least, development of the device in Russia. It guarantees the maximum adaptation of the tablet to needs of the Russian customers and meets security standards accepted in our country.

At the moment the limited choice of foreign devices of industrial function is presented at the market. But there are also Russian developments. The Myst R80 tablet belongs to their number. As the partner of developer of the device in this project the Intel corporation performed that allowed to use the BayTrail T platform (the quad-core Intel processor Atom Z3745 with frequency of 1.86 GHz and 2 GB of RAM). The Microsoft corporation thanks to which the product received the Windows 8.1 Pro operating system became the third project participant. Equipment by this operating system considerably simplifies integration of the tablet into IT infrastructure of the enterprise and allows to use information resources of the company and already developed applications, including - specialized.

Very productive solution differing at the same time in moderate energy consumption – without recharge was as a result received till 10 o'clock that is extremely important for the professional tool. The autonomy of the device is in addition expanded by means of the easily removable rechargeable batteries equipped with the charge level meter. If for the consumer device the opportunity for work with the touch screen in gloves is rather marketing option, then during the long work on the street or on harmful production when hands are protected by gloves constantly - it is need. The DEPO Myst R80 display with diagonal 8.3 inches (there is also a model with the diagonal of 10.1 inches) and high resolution of 1920х1200 pixels supports an opportunity for work in gloves and hand-written input by means of the stylus. The body of the tablet is protected from water ingress and dust according to IP65 standard. The tablet is capable to work a progressive tense and in difficult temperature conditions: from-10 to +50 degrees, and in the short-term mode – up to -35 °C. Besides, as the option DEPO Myst R80 it can be equipped with the additional cover protecting corners of the device and increasing protection against falling from height to 1.8 meters.

Communications are for the sake of what mobile devices are purchased. And the list of the supported interfaces of information exchange is wider, the more different schemes of application can be offered to the user. In addition to a necessary basic set of interfaces, such, as: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB, is built in the modem of the most modern standard of cellular communication of LTE, the slot for microSD standard memory cards the tablet and also - the 3.5-mm connector for connection of earphones. The important feature of DEPO Myst R80 distinguishing it from normal tablets consists available integrated from the NFC reader of RFID tags, a possibility of use of a docking station with the built-in HDMI interface and optional installation COM port. The possibility of installation of the smart card reader is also provided in the tablet for what on a back cover the special removable compartment is set. Navigation on satellites of GLONASS systems and GPS ensures safety and wider geography of application.

It is considered that when using industrial tablets the camera is not necessary, but practice showed that it not so. Together with a possibility of the hand-written input supported by the tablet, the camera on 8 megapixels turns the tablet into the powerful tool for daily work. Using the camera it is possible to fix malfunctions and damages, to note stages of the carried-out works and to prepare reports. The LED flash can be used as a light source during the work in badly lit places. And the front camera on 2 megapixels not only provides carrying out video conferences with head office of the company, but also perfectly will be suitable for a selfie.

Equipment of DEPO Myst R80 the Microsoft Windows 8.1 Pro operating system provided simple interaction of the device with internal resources of the company and compatibility with the existing customized applications. At the same time the hardware platform on which the tablet is constructed is open for development of customized applications for different operating systems. And use together with DEPO Myst R80 of a specialized docking station allows to turn it into a full-fledged workplace, having connected the monitor, the keyboard, a mouse and peripheral devices.

The demand of the industrial tablet is defined, first of all, by a possibility of completion of the device under requirements of customers and existence of additional accessories. In addition to a docking station and COM port, DEPO Myst R80 it can be retrofitted by fastening in the machine, the special wrist belt, a protective cover protecting from falling and the magnetic card reader. Several modifications of the device with screens from 12 and up to 4.3 inches will be in the future created that will in addition expand the field of its use.

Existence of the choice in a segment of industrial tablets is a good sign that the market grows and develops. But so far this choice is limited to very tough "fork". Devices can be expensive and functional, at the price to 4-5 thousand dollars, or cheap – up to 1000 dollars and with very limited set of opportunities, to the corresponding normal household devices.

The DEPO Myst R80 tablet is the balanced device made in Russia and for Russia which at the price in 1600 dollars optimum combines a wide choice of options, the level of protection and convenience of using in the industry. And, above all - lower price profitable distinguishes the DEPO tablet from more expensive models developed by large international producers who, besides, are equipped with the functions and specific opportunities not always demanded in the industry and considerably complicating operation.
