DevOps Cloud is a cloud for development which represents the ecosystem including a self-service portal and tool kit, the developers intended for minimization of interaction with infrastructure level.

2018: Start of division for development of DevOps Cloud

On November 19, 2018 the Technoserv company announced formation of division which activity is focused on creation of the cloud-platform for software developers — DevOps Cloud.

Monitoring IT market trends, the Technoserv Cloud made the decision to create division for start of SaaS service — clouds for development of DevOps Cloud — Mikhail Blinov, the deputy manager reported "Technoserv Cloud".

The service is focused on specialists of the IT field — programmers, testers, timlid, product owner, etc. which create, test, implement and unroll new services and functions.

According to developers, the DevOps Cloud platform will contain:

• Management systems for configurations and problem definition, repositories for storage of the code and artifacts, Task-tracker.
• Assembly systems and orchestrations.
• Testing systems, monitoring and logging.
• Integration environment / Prerelease circuit.
• Productive circuit.

The development team depending on type of the project and tasks can select a set of already preconfigured tools integrated into the uniform pipeline from DevOps Cloud. At the same time opportunities and making changes in settings, and replacements of directly tools remain, explained in Technoserv. Besides, creation of additional mechanisms for monitoring of implementation of tasks by contractors, the analysis of KPI and evident tracking by the customer of operational figures of merit of work of a command is planned.

Minimization of need of configuring both separate tools, and the development pipeline in general will become significant benefit from use of tools for development from a cloud. Users will also have an opportunity of flexible scaling of resources with payment only for actually used capacities. Among other features: deployment of environments on demand and lack of overloads on hardware resources at productive calculations (for example, in the analysis of the code).

Our cloud for development of DevOps Cloud will consider specifics of the market and to be guided by commands with problems of any level without emphasis on business market — Sergey Sklabovsky, the product manager of management of development of cloud services told the Technoserv Cloud. — We implement the first version of the solution including GitLab, Kubernetes, Prometheus, SonarQube, Ansible.
