XBRL Engine is a tool for non-credit financial institutions (NFO), which allows you to automatically convert downloadable data into the format required by the Bank of Russia.

On June 22, the XBRL Engine product was certified at the XBRL Center, of which the Bank of Russia is the founder, and received the highest category (A1-full). 2020: Offer an open license

In connection with the sharp increase in business demand for online services, "" Diasoft April 27, 2020 announced the offer of an open license for customers to use the standard functionality of XBRL the Engine product. The license allows multiple users to work with the solution at once.

The standard XBRL Engine functionality provides a full cycle of XBRL reporting, ready for submission in the personal account of the organization on the site CENTRAL BANK RUSSIAN FEDERATION in accordance with the current taxonomy (version 3.2 is available as of April 2020). The solution "Diasoft" will allow to carry out loading of initial, data calculation and control of indicators according to taxonomy, validation and visualization of reports with the possibility of uploading and generation of XBRL-package for download to the personal account of the organization on the site. The proposed solution is web server, which provides the possibility of one-time work in the system of several users. Installation does not require special skills and takes no more than an hour. The client sends an application for the purchase of the solution and, after confirmation from Diasoft, receives a distribution.

Using the standard XBRL Engine functionality, the client can independently place the solution on the company server and load the source data for XBRL reporting using templates for Excel or CSV source data. 2019: Tested settings for correct processing of taxonomy information 3.1

Diasoft customers have completed the pilot test phase of taxonomy version 3.1 - completed the preparation and submission of data contained in sections that have already been put into effect under taxonomy 3.1 (cash report). The Bank of Russia has already given feedback on the results of the pilot reporting by the company's customers - there were no shortcomings and errors in reports generated using the XBRL Engine solution, Diasoft reported on July 8, 2019.

In the XBRL Engine software product used by Diasoft customers to convert data into XBRL reports in accordance with the requirements of the Bank of Russia, settings have been made and tested for correct processing of information according to the 3.1 taxonomy version.

The architecture of the Diasoft solution made it possible to make the necessary amendments without adapting the "engine" itself to the updated version of the XBRL taxonomy. At the same time, the process of loading the initial data did not become more complex - the usual templates were left unchanged (including the OCDS forms). The mechanism for integrating the solution with the accounting systems of organizations is also preserved.

Diasoft recommends that non-credit financial institutions (NFOs), including insurance companies, use the XBRL Engine service to prepare half-year reports (to 20.07.2019) in accordance with the final version of the taxonomy.

The 3.1 XBRL taxonomy required another review of reporting approaches. We note with satisfaction that both our company and our customers have successfully completed this task - this is evidenced by the results of the pilot reporting to the Bank of Russia. Safety

The XBRL Engine records anomalous jumps compared to the previous reporting period, inconsistency of information on contracts with accounting data and other possible errors, localizes them and allows you to make adjustments. In cases where the source system does not allow you to enter the correct data, users will be able to resolve it in the XBRL Engine. It is sufficient to make an adjustment once, and in the next period it will be automatically applied in the corresponding part of the report.

Autonomy

The system itself converts the data into a taxonomy format, receiving reports in the format of aggregated indicators familiar to the NFO. This was made possible thanks to mapping technology, which correlates the concepts of taxonomy with indicators in reporting forms.

XBRL Engine Announcement

On August 30, 2017, Diasoft announced the release of the XBRL Engine tool for non-credit financial organizations (NFO), which from January 1, 2018 should provide reporting to the Central Bank of the Russian Federation in a new format.

XBRL Engine is a solution that allows you to automatically convert downloadable data into the format required by the Bank of Russia. When developing, Diasoft specialists relied on many years of experience in automating the preparation of various types of reporting - both in the banking sector and in the NFO market.

We at Diasoft carefully studied the tool proposed by the Bank of Russia, and as part of the testing of the pilot version, we were able to evaluate its functionality. The main thing that we understood is that in most cases for correct reporting in the XBRL format, the converter of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation will not be enough, since its use does not exempt the NFO from the need to prepare high-quality data. The development of Diasoft has a flexible user rights management system with the ability to log their activity. This ensures a high level of security of the reporting system, since the XBRL Engine displays information about who made changes, when and where in the report, the developers emphasized.

The release of the first version of the XBRL Engine from Diasoft is scheduled for September 2017. The solution can be integrated into the NFO IT architecture or used in the cloud. The plans include scaling experience in the banking market, which, according to official reports of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, will inevitably come to the XBRL format.
