2019: The announcement of the solution for automatic comparison of documents in an ECM system

On April 16, 2019 the DIRECTUM company presented the solution for automatic comparison of documents in an ECM system.

According to the company, the specialists working with agreements often need to compare two versions of one document: for example, after the next circle of approval or return from the partner. The solution of DIRECTUM "Comparison of Documents" accelerates process of comparison and reduces error probability because of a human factor.

Thanks to comparison automation users of an ECM system do not spend working time on reading of upgraded version of the document. The company purchases additional protection against losses to which unnoticed editing from the partner can lead.

Comparison of versions is executed using the mechanism developed by DIRECTUM company. For its start there is enough couple of clicks. It is possible to compare two document revisions or the document of an ECM system to the file on the computer. As a result the employee receives the report with visualization of differences.

The added text is selected in green color, and changed — yellow. In some documents, for example, the scan copies, is not present a text layer which is necessary for comparison. For its extraction intellectual services Ario are used. As a result need line by line to compare the paper copy to electronic disappears.

Thus, the mechanism allows to reveal quickly change which was made by the partner. It is also convenient to use the solution at approval of the draft treaty in the company: on the next circle of approval the employee does not re-read all document, and browses only the changed places.
