2023: Release of the Knowledge Base Solution

Directum introduced a tool on February 8, 2023 that helps to preserve and transfer the knowledge and experience of employees, collecting them into an informative base. In it, you can create and edit articles, as well as share them with colleagues.

Over time, companies accumulate a large amount of information, which is often transmitted orally from employee to employee: practical recommendations, cases, instructions. Usually such knowledge is stored separately or not recorded. As a result, they are lost or remain in a limited circle of employees.

The solution helps to preserve the accumulated knowledge. The tool is based on articles that are created and refined in the built-in editor. This approach makes it easier to work with texts and navigate.

The knowledge base is available in the free version: users can use all the possibilities of the solution, but there are restrictions. To remove them, you need to purchase a license.

You can create articles based on out-of-the-box templates, such as FAQ materials FAQ ().

Material access levels for different employee groups are flexibly configured by the administrator.

To navigate through articles with echoing topics, links are established between them. And for a quick search for information, there is a list of recent user articles.

The knowledge base is what no large company exists without, the only question is how convenient it is to create, store and use the accumulated experience. Directum has created a worthy alternative to Confluence, and in conjunction with Agile boards, a full-fledged replacement for Jira. The use of the Knowledge Base significantly reduces the time for searching and fixing information, and its seamless integration with other capabilities of the system makes the work of users even more efficient without unnecessary gestures,
explained Elena Lobanova, Head of Directum Business Development Projects.

The tool reduces information retrieval times by 20%, accelerates training and internal technology tasks, and simplifies employee access to information.
